Youth Engagement Mini-Grants

The Substance Abuse Division of the Wyoming Department of Health is pleased to announce the availability of mini grants through the Wyoming First Lady’s Initiative to Prevent Childhood Drinking.  Prevention efforts in Wyoming are working, based on the Youth Risk Behavior Survey results, but there is still a lot of work to do.  To that end, mini grants of up to $1,499.00 are available to youth groups or youth-centered activities whose primary focus is to reduce childhood and underage alcohol consumption.  The funds are available on a competitive grant basis. The application in Word and PDF can be found below or at here and must be submitted by 5 pm MST on February 17, 2010.

Action Plan Template

Those LCCP members who attended the March meeting may remember the template that the Healthier Laramie County Action Team used for their new action plan.

We would like to make this template available to the rest of the action teams as a tool that will aid them in developing their own action plans. Anyone interested can download it below.
